Drive to Base
I got this idea from Loraloo over at Suburbia Las Vegas. Here are pictures of our drive to and from base. Three main things we see:
The Agriculture: Here, olive and orange trees
Crazy Driving: If you notice in the picture, there is an oncoming car in the opposite lane.
And umbrella girls that wait for business on the side of the highways in the heat.

Yeah it IS pretty, unfortunately you get used to seeing it, and then you forget to really take the scenery in. After driving it a while, I've noticed that I have to start reminding myself to appreciate it, and not complain about "how brown everything is right now" or "how long the drive is" etc. But it is a beautiful area.
